![]() ![]() Archer is an example of the sort of circumstances a modern person has to go through to become a Heroic Spirit, or an existence similar to one. It's worth noting that most tend to predate the "modern" world, however, and any actual ones from the future, especially powerful ones, would be rare and special. Army of The Ages: The Heroic Spirits can be summoned from any time period, even the future, as long as someone has an appropriate catalyst. The Grail system is set up so that heroes who were ordinary humans in-life are bestowed superhuman abilities based on the myths and legends that center around them and the Servant class they are summoned into mythological figures who may not have actually existed in-universe - like Heracles and Medusa - can still be manifested as Servants and in the case of beings that are genuinely fictitious, the Grail summons the Heroic Spirit that best qualifies, as seen with Sasaki Kojirō and Aŋra Mainiiu. All Myths Are True: Almost all myths are true, albeit with various historical and mythological liberties being taken. Not speed, and it certainly isn't a position you should try and lord people over like its some unbreakable cornerstone of Lightspeed servants. Like, I don't think servants are limited to Mach 2 or whatever, but this specific bit of evidence isn't even fucking evidence, its either an example of the homing ability of Gae Bolg or just a metaphor. ![]() Entrenching your feet in concrete and refusing to move isn't the best thing to go on when your 'evidence' is about as flimsy as a centimeter of tinfoil. I don't want to be super rude (but I guess I already was at the start), but the others have a point on what they said. In fact, the same probably happens with teleportation as long as that teleportation doesn't fudge with its targeting too much. So, if its target flies away faster than it moves via its homing throw it will just chase them across the planet. ![]() This is exactly what others have pointed out, but apparently this vague statement on 'hitting a target on the other side of the earth' somehow means its lightspeed or something? We already know that Gae Bolg Thrust apparently just deadass throws itself over the horizon when trying to target Scathach. (Lancer might have also told them of the homing part, but that isn't part of his actual record so its probably just Shirou monologue) Before specifically stating that Lancer told those girls about his actual record, ergo Mach 2 and 40km distance. As its Shirou adding on to the already stated figures of speed and distance by saying it has homing capabilities. This, specifically, is Shirou's internal comment on it, and Shirou does know of the homing part of it, which is what makes this statement makes sense. Here's the screenshot of what you are holding as gospel instead of such an explicit figure. Which, according to the text, is Mach 2 and around 40km's in distance specifically. In fact, let me pull up screenshots from the video you all are hovering around like its somehow gospel and claiming no one else can understand.Īs you can tell, this is at 3:47 and Lancer is talking to 3 girls about his record. Even if people were ignoring what was written, you are also part of that issue since your ignoring specifically stated figures. Click to shrink.Pull both of your heads out of your asses, you don't have some grand comprehension thats leagues above everyone else in this thread. ![]()
